Melinda Aimee Roth has a bachelor of science in biology and obtained an English degree later on in life. She has taught in schools in the School District of Philadelphia and has written for several newspapers. Roth’s diverse experiences enrich her writing, allowing her to craft narratives that are both informative and deeply moving.

Her interests include playing the piano, speaking French, learning German, and designing and sewing her own clothes. A passionate traveler, she enjoys exploring the natural world. She is also advocating for the concept of communities that balance one-third agriculture, one-third forestry, and one-third pedestrian and alternative transportation, with a focus on a town design centered around a medieval-style town square.
